Natura Resurrexit

This green steels me, spring’s
fierce teeth wrestling life from once
iced ways now made true.

That’s strong imagery for spring. Maybe up there in ice country it does seem as though spring needs to do some wresting. Here? Not to much. She’s stealthy, and willing to creep in while your back is turned!

    Happy Easter!

Oh so vivid! And sometimes it seems that way in Illinois, as well. It’s a struggle to get winter to give up and allow spring a platform. (And sometimes spring is very short, like this poem.)

Yes, spring is short here too, although longer than it was in Alberta. March is always a back and forth month, even though we are usually more than ready for a break in the weather. Happy Easter!

Beautiful, imagery my friend. I hope Easter has been lovely for you and your family xxx

Thanks, and a happy Easter to you as well Dianne. It has been a funny Easter since my wife was away on a Habitat for Humanity build, and my three daughters were all in different locales. I had the pleasure of spending time with the one in Halifax. A great time together!

  5. Reminds me of the unstoppable Spring that melts the long Winter in Narnia.
